ESC Projects is a full-service engineering bureau specialising in labour-intensive process outsourcing. Their existing site was a custom-built static site with no CMS, years out of date and requiring a developer for any change. I built them a WordPress Full Site Editing site with good SEO and performance, so their team can manage content independently without ongoing freelance costs.

ESC Projects came through a personal connection. They had a long-running custom-built website with no content management system — every text change, every new project, every news item needed a developer. That's an expensive and slow way to maintain a site, and it showed in how outdated the content had become.

The brief was straightforward: build something the team can use themselves, with solid SEO and performance, without creating a dependency on a freelancer for routine content updates. WordPress Full Site Editing was the right tool — block-based editing that's genuinely accessible to non-developers, with good out-of-the-box SEO foundations and no ongoing licence costs.

The site covers ESC Projects' services, the markets they operate in, a project showcase, an about section, and a news section the team can publish to themselves. A few custom block components handle the more specific layout needs.
